Need
The organization experienced a drop in productivity from their all-volunteer based
workforce and identified a need to refocus on team development and a high performance
work culture.
Solution
Diana Keith designed and delivered a strategic plan to refocus the organization toward a
result driven business environment of learning and growth. The strategic plan included a
uniform training system and result focused coaching protocols. A partnership focused
plan was constructed through interviews and meetings with the organization’s executive
leadership, various boards and committees, and the volunteers themselves. An ongoing
performance improvement program directed at volunteers was developed. The client’s
executive board was also coached on how to better communicate and position change
with their workforce.
Result
An empowered volunteer workforce now continues to effectively drive the mission of the
organization. The client’s executive board issued a statement that said, “Your guidance
helped us create a partnership philosophy that we are committed to. You brought us to a
higher level.”
